Roots & Wings

Roots and Wings (RAW) School of Embodied Wisdom

Key Takeaways

Why Train with Roots & Wings, School of Embodied Wisdom?

Learn the Roots and Wings Method

ROOTS & WINGS Method™

  1. Regulate – Calm and stabilize the nervous system
  2. Reorganize – Align the body through fascia and structure
  3. Embody – Develop awareness and internal connection
  4. Integrate – Apply change to real life
  5. Transform – Release old identities and patterns
  6. Serve – Step into purpose and self-leadership

The Roots & Wings Method™ takes you on a gentle yet powerful journey home to yourself. We begin by regulating the nervous system and reorganizing the body, creating a grounded foundation where you can feel safe and supported from within. From this place, you begin to embody a deeper awareness, listening to the intelligence of your body and allowing it to guide you. As these shifts take root, you learn to integrate them into your life, transforming old patterns and identities that no longer serve you. With time, you naturally begin to express yourself more fully—living with greater authenticity, clarity, and purpose.

Alison’s Wings programs are unlike typical yoga teacher trainings. She brings over 30 years of experience in both structural integration (Rolfing®) and yoga, creating a curriculum that emphasizes:

Experienced E-RYT 500 Mentorship

Alison holds the highest level of Yoga Alliance certification (E-RYT 500), indicating over 500 hours of training and 2,000+ hours of teaching experience spanning 4+ years. She’s not just a teacher—she’s a mentor who will guide you in finding your authentic voice as a teacher and leader.

Community & Sisterhood

Wings programs create containers for deep connection. You’ll learn alongside other midlife women navigating similar questions: Who am I becoming? How do I step into leadership? What does embodied sovereignty look like in practice? The relationships you build here will support you long after the program ends.
